In the desert wilderness, without adults, two boys try to find answers to their questions. They roam, unhurriedly, through open spaces. They rest in the middle of the road or beneath high voltage electricity pylons. They contemplate life and death, they ask themselves about the purpose of teachers, they talk about the big animals that years ago became extinct, about complete darkness, foreign languages and messages in bottles. They make us question what it is to be an adult.
